Meditative Practices, 10 Reasons Why You Should have one.

Stress Less: In this day and age, stress is one of the number one complaints that people have. But stress is not just a daily annoyance; it is a real problem that can have serious—even deadly—consequences on your health. You may have heard the expression “Stress Kills,” and it is an unfortunate truth. Stress hormones take a tremendous toll on your body. Luckily mindfulness has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and increase mental and physical health.

Improve Mental Focus: Does it ever feel like you just can’t turn off your brain? We all have mental chatter that can distract us when we need to focus on work, school, or other important activities. Meditative practices are specially designed to train your mind to focus when you need it to, which will help you to direct your train of thought in the right direction.

Connect With Your Loved Ones: It might seem counterintuitive that internal practices of mindfulness and self-awareness could help you to connect to someone outside of yourself, but they can do just that because they allow you to get in touch with yourself through mental focus and attention. This translates into interpersonal relationships, and over time, you will find that it will become easier give your loved ones your full, undivided attention.

Reduce Pain: Pain is something that we all have to deal with from time to time. But dealing with chronic mental or physical pain can leave you exhausted on all levels—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Mindfulness can enable you to change your relationship to the pain you are experiencing and free up mental energy for the life you want to lead.

Sleep Better: Getting the sleep your body needs can improve your mental and physical health. Inadequate sleep leaves you in a state of constant fatigue, and insomnia can exacerbate this problem, creating a vicious cycle that can be hard to escape. Meditative practices can be a solution, as they give you the tools you need to get restful, restorative sleep each and every night. These techniques can also help you fight insomnia so that you can fall asleep quickly and break the cycle of exhaustion.

Lose Weight: It may sound too good to be true, but let me explain. Meditation can actually help you to lose weight and keep it off. This is because, as previously discussed, meditative practices reduce stress and improve sleep, and both stress and fatigue can cause weight gain and difficulty controlling appetite. In addition, mindfulness and visualizations can empower you to finally reach your ideal weight and increase your physical stamina.

Achieve Your Goals: Weight loss isn’t the only goal that meditation can assist you in attaining. Whether your goals are personal or professional, visualization is a powerful tool that can increase your motivation and drive to succeed. When you have this mental toolbox in place, you will find that you have a nearly unlimited capacity for success, as your daily practice consistently renews your motivation to achieve.

Increase Self-Confidence: Have you ever watched someone who conducted themselves with such poise that they could gain the attention of everyone in the room with only their self. Meditation can actually work to help you begin to be perceived as confident and in control. Your newfound mental composure can enable you to be assertive, make new connections with ease, and feel good about the decisions you make.

Be Inspired: It’s no secret that our innate creativity is often blocked from within our own minds. For example, for a writer, this can take the form of what’s commonly known as writer’s block. In fact, nearly everyone has experienced this frustrating lack of inspiration. Mindfulness is a great way to remove our own mental blockages and tap into the creativity naturally flowing within us in order to achieve great things, whether in science, art, or another field.

Find Peace: Along with the mental clarity you gain from your mindfulness practice, you will find that you attain a state of inner peace and calm. You will gain perspective about what is most important to you, and gratitude will begin to flow through your life as you recognize the incredible opportunities you do have, in spite of any setbacks. Mindfulness brings your awareness to the richness of everything that life has to offer.

Who Needs Chakra Balancing and Why?

Who Needs Chakra Balancing? Your Chakra Energies May be out of balance. The higher consciousness, the vibrations, and the energies accelerate to release any stagnation in your body or your (being).

However, the releasing process can be gentle or intense depending on the agenda of your soul and the degree to which you resist the process. Distortion in Space and Time: If your material 3-D awareness is constantly shifting into and out of different dimensions, it might be the sign that your Chakras need to be balanced. The effect is characterized by spatial, temporal bodily disorientation.
This describes a situation where an individual loses track of space and time, i.e. inability to tell where and when you are. Generally, this is a temporary phenomenon and only lasts until you are able to adjust, integrate and also ground the new vibration energies.

 Aches and Pains

Aches and pains are great signs that our energy flow is not balanced. It makes us aware of our energy flow, and more importantly, where the energy is not flowing. This is a direct feedback from the body trying to tell us what might be going on ‘in there.’ The higher consciousness, the vibrations as well as the energies tend to flow throughout the body. However, as they move to the places in the body and mind where the blocks (old stuck and stagnant energies) are held, it feels like pain and aches. This is felt in the form of headaches and flu symptoms among others. This is just a sign that your physical body is struggling to release the toxins and the negativity held inside. So, these symptoms are actually normal. The pain and ache disappear once you are done with the healing work and all the blocks are completely released.

Dreaming and Sleeping

The ‘dream time” is the time when most of your issues (the once accumulated over a lifetime) are processed through the subconscious mind. These dreams are at times vivid, sexual, violent, otherworldly, perverse, non-sensical, bizarre, nightmarish and at times even alien. Actually, anything your mind can imagine, it can also dream it. The catch is that your mind is only able to use the metaphors, images, and symbols that have been programmed into its “computer bank.” Although such images may not necessarily follow the past events, they are actually the best approximation of your mind’s interpretation of them. It is not really important for your conscious ego mind to waste energy trying to make sense of the details and the storyline of the events since it is just the result of the processing of the energies behind them. Sleeping is just one of many ways our conscious ego-mind copes when overwhelmed emotionally or energetically.

The same can be said of the higher consciousness. In the process of healing, the energies and vibrations are experienced. These stir up many unresolved issues; this results in fatigue and the feeling of lethargic. During this time, the conscious ego mind (the part of your mind and energies that wants to energize and rationalize) is put on hold to sleep. This allows you to process on the deeper levels of the soul. This continues until your subconscious mind process to the point of saturation when it can take no more. At this point, the ego-mind goes on hold, and the conscious mind takes over as you wake up.

The Exaggerated Sensitivity

Any form of healing is associated with the tremendous amount of energy (both physical and psychic). If in the process you are subjected to additional stimulation, it is like adding fuel to the fire. It is, therefore, possible that you may experience exaggerated sensitivity to your surroundings to the extent that you become intolerant or get overwhelmed by the external stimulation of any kind. This could be music, random noise, the TV, traffic of any kind, the light (bright or multicolored), smell, touch, texture, and jarring movements among others.

It is advisable to take a break whenever feeling “fed-up.” Consider engaging in an activity that allows you to process your stuff in peace. Consider exercising at the gym, taking a walk in the park or even leisurely drive. You can also consider camping, touring a park or traveling for a holiday. Just consider something that works best for you, even if it means staying in your room to sleep. Relationship to Food As the higher consciousness, the vibrations and the energies move through your cellular biological and emotional system; there is the likelihood that issues related to your diet may arise. This includes the cellular memories of the feasts and famines.

You may find yourself fixated on emotionally charged comfort foods, experience mood swings characterized by unusual cravings and even loss of appetite. Actually, your body is just trying to adjust and balance. It is important to avoid fighting it back or even judging. In reality, processing of the higher energies is accomplished with a lot of nutritional support. This results in changes manifested through the body emotions and the mind. This is why you should be gentle with yourself. So, if you are experiencing weight gain, it may be an indicator that you are still holding on something which could be emotion, vibrational, energetic or mental. The healing steps that you must continue with include healthy diet, exercising and drinking plenty of water.

 The Worst Case Scenarios

It is possible that you find yourself in situations that you feared the most. This is something you only thought was a nightmare. In this case, we refer to it as the worst case scenario. Let’s say you are fired, and you have no alternative, with no savings in your accounts, your car is repossessed, your spouse runs away with the kids, you lose your home to auctioneers, someone you love gets a terminal disease, you are raped, there is death in the family, or anything worse you can imagine happens.

None of the above scenarios is pretty. However, they are challenges that can face you, and if they do, you have to deal with them. Whether you come out of it stronger or weaker will depend on you. It is not something you wish to happen, but what is the way out if it does? Well, I suggest you find a better way of dealing with the situation so that you emerge stronger.

Abandoned Lost and Lonely

Have you ever had a strong feeling of not belonging somewhere? This is when you feel isolated, alienated, estranged and maybe misunderstood. You may feel like you don’t fit in your workplace, your home, community or culture. It can be even worse when you feel like you are done with life. There is nothing else left for you to accomplish other than death. This is when the thought of suicide creeps in. You need to understand that your life is not an accident in any way. In fact, you are alive for profound reasons. The completion of these reasons may take many years if not your entire lifetime. So, when it appears like life is empty and bleak, find ways to remain patient and hang on. Seek help from Chakra balancing. This is a temporary phase that shifts the moment you go deeper with the help of Chakra balancing.

Feeling Dazed and Confused

This is a phase in life when you feel spaced out; it may be characterized by muddled and confused speech, and difficulty in remembering things. You even feel like you are going insane and may wonder if you have some serious mental illness. Actually, it is not what you think. This spacey sensation is only an indicator that contrary to what you think, your mind is actually opening up and expanding into new and much more liberated ways of thinking, feeling and being. In fact, you are only starting to experience reality outside what is known as the box of the 3rd dimension.

This is actually a good thing, only that you are not used to it. Medically speaking, the speech and memory are all functions of the left hemisphere of the brain. This hemisphere is also associated with worldly, horizontal and linear rational thinking. However, the higher vibrational energies are likely to activate the right hemisphere more. The right hemisphere is associated with the spiritual, vertical, transcendent and irrational ‘feelings.’ When creating a balance between the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere, you are likely to experience some temporary diversion or the shift of the energies. This shifts the attention from the dominant side of the brain to a more dormant side. The memory and speech return to normal as soon as the two sides are balanced.

Altered States of Consciousness without drugs

“Although the use of psychoactive drugs can easily and profoundly change our experience of consciousness, we can also—and often more safely—alter our consciousness without drugs. These altered states of consciousness are sometimes the result of simple and safe activities, such as sleeping, watching television, exercising, or working on a task that intrigues us. In this section we consider the changes in consciousness that occur through hypnosis, sensory deprivation, and meditation, as well as through other non-drug-induced mechanisms.

“Changing Behavior Through Suggestion: The Power of Hypnosis

Franz Anton Mesmer (1734–1815) was an Austrian doctor who believed that all living bodies were filled with magnetic energy. In his practice, Mesmer passed magnets over the bodies of his patients while telling them their physical and psychological problems would disappear. The patients frequently lapsed into a trancelike state (they were said to be “mesmerized”) and reported feeling better when they awoke (Hammond, 2008). [1]

Although subsequent research testing the effectiveness of Mesmer’s techniques did not find any long-lasting improvements in his patients, the idea that people’s experiences and behaviors could be changed through the power of suggestion has remained important in psychology. James Braid, a Scottish physician, coined the term hypnosis in 1843, basing it on the Greek word for sleep (Callahan, 1997). [2]

“Hypnosis is a trance-like state of consciousness, usually induced by a procedure known as hypnotic induction, which consists of heightened suggestibility, deep relaxation, and intense focus (Nash & Barnier, 2008). [3] Hypnosis became famous in part through its use by Sigmund Freud in an attempt to make unconscious desires and emotions conscious and thus able to be considered and confronted (Baker & Nash, 2008). [4]

Because hypnosis is based on the power of suggestion, and because some people are more suggestible than others, these people are more easily hypnotized. Hilgard (1965) [5] found that about 20% of the participants he tested were entirely unsusceptible to hypnosis, whereas about 15% were highly responsive to it. The best participants for hypnosis are people who are willing or eager to be hypnotized, who are able to focus their attention and block out peripheral awareness, who are open to new experiences, and who are capable of fantasy (Spiegel, Greenleaf, & Spiegel, 2005). [6]

“People who want to become hypnotized are motivated to be good subjects, to be open to suggestions by the hypnotist, and to fulfill the role of a hypnotized person as they perceive it (Spanos, 1991). [7] The hypnotized state results from a combination of conformity, relaxation, obedience, and suggestion (Fassler, Lynn, & Knox, 2008). [8] This does not necessarily indicate that hypnotized people are “faking” or lying about being hypnotized. Kinnunen, Zamansky, and Block (1994) [9] ”

“used measures of skin conductance (which indicates emotional response by measuring perspiration, and therefore renders it a reliable indicator of deception) to test whether hypnotized people were lying about having been hypnotized. Their results suggested that almost 90% of their supposedly hypnotized subjects truly believed that they had been hypnotized.

“One common misconception about hypnosis is that the hypnotist is able to “take control” of hypnotized patients and thus can command them to engage in behaviors against their will. Although hypnotized people are suggestible (Jamieson & Hasegawa, 2007), [10] they nevertheless retain awareness and control of their behavior and are able to refuse to comply with the hypnotist’s suggestions if they so choose (Kirsch & Braffman, 2001). [11] In fact, people who have not been hypnotized are often just as suggestible as those who have been (Orne & Evans, 1965). [12]

“Another common belief is that hypnotists can lead people to forget the things that happened to them while they were hypnotized. Hilgard and Cooper (1965)[13] investigated this question and found that they could lead people who were very highly susceptible through hypnosis to show at least some signs of posthypnotic amnesia (e.g., forgetting where they had learned information that had been told to them while they were under hypnosis), but that this effect was not strong or common.

“Some hypnotists have tried to use hypnosis to help people remember events, such as childhood experiences or details of crime scenes, that they have forgotten or repressed. The idea is that some memories have been stored but can no longer be retrieved, and that hypnosis can aid in the retrieval process. But research finds that this is not successful: People who are hypnotized and then asked to relive their childhood act like children, but they do not accurately recall the things that occurred to them in their own childhood (Silverman & Retzlaff, 1986). [14] Furthermore, the suggestibility produced through hypnosis may lead people to erroneously recall experiences that they did not have (Newman & Baumeister, 1996). [15] Many states and jurisdictions have therefore banned the use of hypnosis in criminal trials because the “evidence” recovered through hypnosis is likely to be fabricated and inaccurate.

“Hypnosis is also frequently used to attempt to change unwanted behaviors, such as to reduce smoking, overeating, and alcohol abuse. The effectiveness of hypnosis in these areas is controversial, although at least some successes have been reported. Kirsch, Montgomery, and Sapirstein (1995) [16] found that that adding hypnosis to other forms of therapies increased the effectiveness of the treatment, and Elkins and Perfect (2008) [17] reported that hypnosis was useful in helping people stop smoking. Hypnosis is also effective in improving the experiences of patients who are experiencing anxiety disorders, such as PTSD (Cardena, 2000; Montgomery, David, Winkel, Silverstein, & Bovbjerg, 2002),[18] and for reducing pain (Montgomery, DuHamel, & Redd, 2000; Paterson & Jensen, 2003). Altering Consciousness

“A psychoactive drug is a chemical that changes our states of consciousness, and particularly our perceptions and moods. These drugs are commonly found in everyday foods and beverages, including chocolate, coffee, and soft drinks, as well as in alcohol and in over-the-counter drugs, such as aspirin, Tylenol, and cold and cough medication. Psychoactive drugs are also frequently prescribed as sleeping pills, tranquilizers, and antianxiety medications, and they may be taken, illegally, for recreational purposes. As you can see in Table 5.1 “Psychoactive Drugs by Class”, the four primary classes of psychoactive drugs are stimulants, depressants, opioids, and hallucinogens.

“Psychoactive drugs affect consciousness by influencing how neurotransmitters operate at the synapses of the central nervous system (CNS). Some psychoactive drugs are agonists, which mimic the operation of a neurotransmitter; some are antagonists, which block the action of a neurotransmitter; and some work by blocking the reuptake of neurotransmitters at the synapse.

In some cases the effects of psychoactive drugs mimic other naturally occurring states of consciousness. For instance, sleeping pills are prescribed to create drowsiness, and benzodiazepines are prescribed to create a state of relaxation. In other cases psychoactive drugs are taken for recreational purposes with the goal of creating states of consciousness that are pleasurable or that help us escape our normal consciousness.

“The use of psychoactive drugs, and especially those that are used illegally, has the potential to create very negative side effects (Table 5.1 “Psychoactive Drugs by Class”). This does not mean that all drugs are dangerous, but rather that all drugs can be dangerous, particularly if they are used regularly over long periods of time. Psychoactive drugs create negative effects not so much through their initial use but through the continued use, accompanied by increasing doses, that ultimately may lead to drug abuse.

“The problem is that many drugs create tolerance: an increase in the dose required to produce the same effect, which makes it necessary for the user to increase the dosage or the number of times per day that the drug is taken. As the use of the drug increases, the user may developa dependence, defined as a need to use a drug or other substance regularly.

Dependence can be psychological, in which the drug is desired and has become part of the everyday life of the user, but no serious physical effects result if the drug is not obtained; or physical, in which serious physical and mental effects appear when the drug is withdrawn. Cigarette smokers who try to quit, for example, experience physical withdrawal symptoms, such as becoming tired and irritable, as well as extreme psychological cravings to enjoy a cigarette in particular situations, such as after a meal or when they are with friends.

“Users may wish to stop using the drug, but when they reduce their dosage they experience withdrawal—negative experiences that accompany reducing or stopping drug use, including physical pain and other symptoms. When the user powerfully craves the drug and is driven to seek it out, over and over again, no matter what the physical, social, financial, and legal cost, we say that he or she has developed an addiction to the drug.

“It is a common belief that addiction is an overwhelming, irresistibly powerful force, and that withdrawal from drugs is always an unbearably painful experience. But the reality is more complicated and in many cases less extreme. For one, even drugs that we do not generally think of as being addictive, such as caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol, can be very difficult to quit using, at least for some people. On the other hand, drugs that are normally associated with addiction, including amphetamines, cocaine, and heroin, do not immediately create addiction in their users. Even for a highly addictive drug like cocaine, only about 15% of users become addicted (Robinson & Berridge, 2003; Wagner & Anthony, 2002).

”Furthermore, the rate of addiction is lower for those who are taking drugs for medical reasons than for those who are using drugs recreationally. Patients who have become physically dependent on morphine administered during the course of medical treatment for a painful injury or disease are able to be rapidly weaned off the drug afterward, without becoming addicts. Robins, Davis, and Goodwin (1974) [2] found that the majority of soldiers who had become addicted to morphine while overseas were quickly able to stop using after returning home.

“This does not mean that using recreational drugs is not dangerous. For people who do become addicted to drugs, the success rate of recovery is low. These drugs are generally illegal and carry with them potential criminal consequences if one is caught and arrested. Drugs that are smoked may produce throat and lung cancers and other problems. Snorting (“sniffing”) drugs can lead to a loss of the sense of smell, nosebleeds, difficulty in swallowing, hoarseness, and chronic runny nose. Injecting drugs intravenously carries with it the risk of contracting infections such as hepatitis and HIV. Furthermore, the quality and contents of illegal drugs are generally unknown, and the doses can vary substantially from purchase to purchase. The drugs may also contain toxic chemicals.

The study of consciousness

“Consciousness is defined as our subjective awareness of ourselves and our environment (Koch, 2004). [4] The experience of consciousness is fundamental to human nature. We all know what it means to be conscious, and we assume (although we can never be sure) that other human beings experience their consciousness similarly to how we experience ours.

The study of consciousness has long been important to psychologists and plays a role in many important psychological theories. For instance, Sigmund Freud’s personality theories differentiated between the unconscious and the conscious aspects of behavior, and present-day psychologists distinguish between automatic (unconscious) and controlled (conscious) behaviors and between implicit (unconscious) and explicit (conscious) memory (Petty, Wegener, Chaiken, & Trope, 1999; Shanks, 2005). [5]

“Some philosophers and religious practices argue that the mind (or soul) and the body are separate entities. For instance, the French philosopher René Descartes (1596–1650) was a proponentof dualism, the idea that the mind, a nonmaterial entity, is separate from (although connected to) the physical body. In contrast to the dualists, psychologists believe that consciousness (and thus the mind) exists in the brain, not separate from it. In fact, psychologists believe that consciousness is the result of the activity of the many neural connections in the brain, and that we experience different states of consciousness depending on what our brain is currently doing (Dennett, 1991; Koch & Greenfield, 2007). [6]

“The study of consciousness is also important to the fundamental psychological question regarding the presence of free will. Although we may understand and believe that some of our behaviors are caused by forces that are outside our awareness (i.e., unconscious), we nevertheless believe that we have control over, and are aware that we are engaging in, most of our behaviors. To discover that we, or even someone else, has engaged in a complex behavior, such as driving in a car and causing severe harm to others, without being at all conscious of one’s actions, is so unusual as to be shocking. And yet psychologists are increasingly certain that a great deal of our behavior is caused by processes of which we are unaware and over which we have little or no control (Libet, 1999; Wegner, 2003). [7]

“Our experience of consciousness is functional because we use it to guide and control our behavior, and to think logically about problems (DeWall, Baumeister, & Masicampo,2008). [8] Consciousness allows us to plan activities and to monitor our progress toward the goals we set for ourselves. And consciousness is fundamental to our sense of morality—we believe that we have the free will to perform moral actions while avoiding immoral behaviors.

But in some cases consciousness may become aversive, for instance when we become aware that we are not living up to our own goals or expectations, or when we believe that other people perceive us negatively. In these cases we may engage in behaviors that help us escape from consciousness, for example through the use of alcohol or other psychoactive drugs (Baumeister, 1998). [9]

“Because the brain varies in its current level and type of activity, consciousness is transitory. If we drink too much coffee or beer, the caffeine or alcohol influences the activity in our brain, and our consciousness may change. When we are anesthetized before an operation or experience a concussion after a knock on the head, we may lose consciousness entirely as a result of changes in brain activity. We also lose consciousness when we sleep, and it is with this altered state of consciousness that we begin our chapter.

Psychology As A Science

“Despite the differences in their interests, areas of study, and approaches, all psychologists have one thing in common: They rely on scientific methods. Research psychologists use scientific methods to create new knowledge about the causes of behavior, whereas psychologist- practitioners, such as clinical, counseling, industrial-organizational, and school psychologists, use existing research to enhance the everyday life of others. The science of psychology is important for both researchers and practitioners.
In a sense all humans are scientists. We all have an interest in asking and answering questions about our world. We want to know why things happen, when and if they are likely to happen again, and how to reproduce or change them. Such knowledge enables us to predict our own behavior and that of others. We may even collect data (i.e., any information collected through formal observation or measurement) to aid us in this undertaking. It has been argued that people are “everyday scientists” who conduct research projects to answer questions about behavior (Nisbett & Ross, 1980).

“Levels of Explanation in Psychology
The study of psychology spans many different topics at many different levels of explanation, which are the perspectives that are used to understand behavior. Lower levels of explanation are more closely tied to biological influences, such as genes, neurons, neurotransmitters, and hormones, whereas the middle levels of explanation refer to the abilities and characteristics of individual people, and the highest levels of explanation relate to social groups, organizations, and cultures (Cacioppo, Berntson, Sheridan, & McClintock, 2000). [7]

“The same topic can be studied within psychology at different levels of explanation, as shownin Figure 1.3 “Levels of Explanation”. For instance, the psychological disorder known as depression affects millions of people worldwide and is known to be caused by biological, social, and cultural factors. Studying and helping alleviate depression can be accomplished at low levels of explanation by investigating how chemicals in the brain influence the experience of depression. This approach has allowed psychologists to develop and prescribe drugs, such as Prozac, which may decrease depression in many individuals (Williams, Simpson, Simpson, & Nahas, 2009). ”

“At the middle levels of explanation, psychological therapy is directed at helping individuals cope with negative life experiences that may cause depression. And at the highest level, psychologists study differences in the prevalence of depression between men and women and across cultures. The occurrence of psychological disorders, including depression, is substantially higher for women than for men, and it is also higher in Western cultures, such as in the United States, Canada, and Europe, than in Eastern cultures, such as in India, China, and Japan (Chen, Wang, Poland, & Lin, 2009; Seedat et al., 2009). [9] These sex and cultural differences provide insight into the factors that cause depression. The study of depression in psychology helps remind us that no one level of explanation can explain everything. All levels of explanation, from biological to personal to cultural, are essential for a better understanding of human behavior.”

The Human Soul

“The human Soul: It is the internal control mechanism consisting of a collection of rules and regulations which define the limits within which human behaviour should stay in order to conform to the requirements of interaction with other human beings and the environment in general. It can be considered as a sort of adjudicator of the suitability of activities proposed by the Mind. As stated earlier, the Soul has only an advisory role and its function is restricted to filtering proposals from the Mind by checking them against the framework of rules and regulations which have been accepted by the individual as representing the laws and references according to which the individual wants to adjust his or her behaviour. In other words, that which is called personality or character of an individual is the result of the public demonstration of the internal set of references comprising the individual’s Soul. That is why sometimes one may hear the saying” this person has no Soul” referring to a person who behaves outside of the acceptable norms of the society in which one belongs. The importance of the Soul in the expression of human behaviour is vital and critical. If for whatever reason the references used by the Soul are corrupted or false, or the link of communication between the Soul and the Mind is severed, then human behaviour will be either uncontrolled or will present serious deviation from the generally acceptable behaviour. In the discussion which follows in later chapters of this book, the organisation of references and the integrity of the Soul will be examined in greater detail. The last concept which needs to be defined is the one commonly known as “Consciousness”

Ambition and Type

¶ Now what is it that causes some to have ambition and others to lack it?

Your ambitions take the form determined by your predominating physiological system. For instance, in every great singer the Thoracic has been present either as the first or second element.

The effect of the physical upon our talents is no more marked anywhere than here. For it is his unusual lung power, his high chest, the sounding boards in his nose section and his superior vocal cords that make the real foundation of every singer’s fame. These physiological conditions are found in extreme degree only in persons of thoracic tendencies.

It was the great lung-power of Caruso that made him a great singer. It was his remarkable heart-power that brought him through an illness in February, 1921, when every newspaper in the world carried on its front page the positive statement that he could not live another day. That he lived for six months afterward was due chiefly to his remarkable heart.

The nature resulting from a large heart and large lungs is one distinctly different from all others—in short, the Thoracic nature.

“The Best Dressed
¶ The best dressed man and the best dressed woman in your town belong predominantly to this type. This is no accident. The Thoracics, being possessed of acute eye senses, are more sensitive to color and line than any other type. These are the foundations of “style” and artistic grooming.

Clothes Can Unmake the Man
¶ Being desirous of the approval of others and realizing that though clothes do not make the man they can unmake him, this type looks to his laurels on this point.

Because clothes determine the first impressions we make upon strangers and because that impression is difficult to change, clothes are of vast importance in this maze of human relationships.

The Thoracic is more sensitive to the attitude of others because their attitude is more vital to his self-expression. He senses from childhood the bearing that clothes have for or against him in the opinion of others and how they can aid him to express his personality.”

“The Glass of Fashion
¶ The Thoracic therefore often becomes “the glass of fashion and the mold of form.” His consciousness of himself is so keen that, even when alone, he prefers those things in dress which are at once fine, fancy and fashionable.

Some types are indifferent to clothes, some ignorant of clothes and some defiant in their clothes but the Thoracic always has a keen sense of fitness in the matter of apparel.

Distinction in Dress
¶ The distinctive dresser is one who essays the extremely fashionable, the “last moment” touch. He is always a step or two ahead of the times. His ties, handbags, handkerchiefs and stick pins are “up to the minute.” Such a man or woman invariably has a large thoracic development and is well repaid by the public for his pains.

Dress the Universal Language
¶ The public looks more eagerly than we suppose to changes in styles and fads. It gives, in spite of itself, instantaneous admiration of a sort to those who follow the dictates of fashion. This being one of the quickest roads to adulation, it is often utilized by this type.”

“The Newest in Hairdressing
¶ The latest thing in coiffures is always known by the Thoracic woman. And because she is, more often than any other type, a beautiful woman she can wear her hair in almost any style and find it becoming.

So when puffs were the thing this type of woman not only wore puffs but the most extreme and numerous puffs. When the “sticking-to-the-face” style was in vogue she bought much bandoline and essayed the sleekest and shiniest head of all. When the ear-bun raged she changed those same paper-like curls over night into veritable young sofa cushions.”

“Always on “Dress Parade”
¶ With intent to keep the spotlight on himself the Thoracic is always on dress parade. He is vividly aware of himself; he knows what kind of picture he is making. He is seldom “self-conscious,” in the sense of being timid. When he does happen to be timid he suffers, by reason of his greater desire for approval, more acutely than any other type.”

Breathing is a necessity in life

“Do you know that a great many of us do not actually breathe properly? It is one of the most important elements of life, otherwise, without the breath, we cannot live.
Breathing may be an automatic function and a vital one, why then do we spend so much of our time shallow breathing? When we breathe in an unmindful way, we often fail to fill our lungs fully as we only using the upper part, but like anything, our lungs must be worked. Shallow breathing limits the range of motion of the diaphragm, and this can make you feel anxious and, as if you do not have sufficient breath.

We need oxygen for every single cell in the body. Inhalation and exhalation impact the heart and lungs but also, is essential for energy production. Your body’s tissues and organs are made up of cells, and they must receive the right nutrients and oxygen to function correctly.”

“How often do we pay attention to how we breathe? We don’t really, until we succumb to colds or chest infections. There’s little attention paid to our respiratory system. It’s only when you struggle to breathe that you realize just how important it is. If you consider that your nose, windpipe, lungs, circulatory system and the muscles all provide the vital role of transporting those all-important breaths that you take, each part of the body’s systems are inter-linked, but without breath, the body fails to exist.

Dr. Herbert Benson wrote about controlled breathing in his book The Relaxation Response which discussed the oxygen exchange i.e. oxygen being inhaled while carbon dioxide is released. He stated that by controlling breathing, it centers the parasympathetic nervous system which counteracts the body’s fight or flight response. So, this means that by focusing on the breath, it’s possible to de-stress and to manage any anxieties (and anxiousness equates to shallow, rapid breaths). But it also increased brain growth and lowered blood pressure and heart rate. Research endorses this argument and so, yes, focus, breathe correctly, and be healthy.”

“Our breathing is either:
Thoracic or diaphragmatic
Interrupted or continuous
Irregular or rhythmical

Paying attention to how you breathe is important, but it’s also relevant to consider that your breathing is affected by your emotional or physical well-being. Think back to a time when you were angry, fearful or sad, these emotions would have affected your breathing. As you try to recall the memory, tune into the physicality’s of the moment. What was your breathing like? It’s important for you to determine if you have emotional triggers which will interrupt the natural process of breathing. Awareness is key because you can then re-train automatic responses, breathing correctly while improving your health.”

“Have a go at monitoring your breathing for a while and notice if you are guilty of shallow breathing all the time. It’s easy to correct so don’t worry if you do this. It’s very easy to fit some techniques into your daily life and, if you feel anxious at any point or fearful, know that when you focus on your breathing, you can reduce this feeling. The breath has such a calming effect. When I’ve been fraught with tension and have been worrying like mad about things, I found that by taking slow, deep breaths and focusing on the inhalation and exhalation, it really works. If you tune into the breath and focus, you can’t worry about anything else.
There are so many symptoms associated with anxiety and these include:

Feeling faint
Racing heartbeat
Feeling lightheaded
Chest pains”

“We’ve already discussed the connection between the mind and the body and so, it won’t surprise you to know that if you start feeling anxious, it’s possible to experience severe physical reactions. It’s true to say that some people are even hospitalized because they feel they might be having a heart attack. Many symptoms occur through shallow breathing. In fact, anxiety and shallow breathing go hand in hand. This is because the individual takes in only small breaths during any anxiety attack instead of breathing all the way to the bottom of their lungs. Shallow breathing may not be dangerous as such, but you can bet that it’s not good for you.

With shallow breathing, there’s often a need to take deeper breaths, simply because you are not getting in sufficient oxygen levels.
Have you ever noticed that people start yawning to compensate on a subconscious level? It is the easy way to obtain sufficient oxygen and promote healing from within. Take 3 or 4 deep breaths and then go back to breathing normally, just do this more often that’s all.

“Feelings of anxiety promote the activation of our body’s fight or flight system. By its design, it is meant to keep you from safe from any danger. So, if you are faced with a dangerous situation, your heartbeat naturally speeds up, and you start to breathe faster, so to get more oxygen in your system ready for either fighting or fleeing from the situation. This, of course, makes sense.

But anyone who suffers from anxiety is probably not facing any actual danger but the body still reacts exactly as if they are.
Of course, we all suffer from moments of anxiousness from time to time. Our errant thoughts can run astray and make us hypersensitive as to all the numerous things that could go wrong in life, and don’t we always think the worst? Left unchecked, this can develop into some sort of anxiety disorder, and you don’t want that.”

“When this happens, your body consistently starts to release adrenaline, behaving as if you are in a terrifying and life-threatening situation. The chances are you are not in a life-threatening situation, but your stress response activates anyway. You will breathe more rapidly but shallowly. In a panic attack, the individual can end up hyperventilating. Let’s dismiss one myth here when you breathe shallowly, it does not mean that you need to increase your oxygen levels. Actually, it is the opposite. It means that you are over-breathing, shallow rapid breaths and exhaling carbon dioxide far too quickly before your body can make more.
Let’s consider the importance of breathing correctly. Inhale, and oxygen levels increase. But carbon dioxide actually takes time to develop and so, when the breath is shallow, you emit more CO2 than your body creates. It is this that will eventually lead to hyperventilation.

Now, as you hyperventilate, your body feels as if it is not getting sufficient levels of oxygen. Therefore, you start to take even more quick breaths in as you’ll feel panicky and of course, this makes it worse.
Hyperventilation will lead to other side-effects including:

Feeling weak
Tingling sensation Feeling feint
Increased heartbeat
Chest pains
Dizziness
Aches and pains
Reduced mental clarity.

Surprisingly, shallow breathing is one of the most important things to control, and if you can understand how shallow breathing is connected to anxiety, it makes it so much easier to deal with it.

Slow breathing
You may not want to slow your breathing down during an anxiety attack, but it is important to fight the urge to take deep, fast breaths but instead, just to slow down the breathing cycle. To do so, focus on your breathing and make each breath deliberate. Counting can help, and you should inhale for 5 seconds, hold the breath for 2 seconds and then, slowly breathe out for an extended period, for 6 to 7 seconds.”

Anxiety and Stress

“Some people seem to find it easier to cope in life, have you ever wondered why? I found myself doing just this. My findings were surprising. Research led by Harvard University, the University of Oregon and the University of Texas revealed that very effective leaders all share a similar mindset but, not just this, they also share similar hormone levels. The more powerful the leader, the higher the levels of testosterone.

This simply means that those with higher levels of testosterone are naturally primed to be more assertive, relaxed and confident. They will be less reactive to stressors and be able to handle the bombardment of pressure quite well. In addition, there’s one physical cue which impacts both hormones and that’s body language. So, if you can improve your body language, you will naturally increase testosterone while decreasing cortisone levels and this means, less stress but more confidence.

This leads me directly into power body poses.
Power poses are intriguing. Amy Cuddy is a researcher based at Harvard University and she and her team have identified that different body positions equate to high power or low power poses. High power poses tend to be open and relaxed while low power poses will be closed off and guarded.

“They studied the impact of these poses in a research study on 42 students. Saliva was taken from each of them and cortisone levels and testosterone levels were then measured. Afterwards, each person was asked to sit in either high power or low power poses for approximately 2 minutes. After which, an additional sample saliva was taken and cortisone and testosterone levels were measured yet again.

The results were stunning. High power poses serve to increase testosterone by approximately 20% and they found that cortisone levels decreased by 25%. When you consider the ability to exude confidence and cope with daily pressures, this is significant.
Try this well-known and versatile power pose so you can see what I mean. Its nickname is ‘The Wonder Woman’ pose and, you simply stand tall, with chest out and hands on the hips. It’s certainly a power stance and irrespective of its name, it is just as important to men as it is to women. Try it now and then see how you feel afterwards.”

“I mentioned before that our body language speaks volumes about us. If you are a little worried as to those secretive body language communications, try to build in some body language checks each day and insert a higher power pose into your routine each morning for approximately 2 or 3 minutes.
When you do so, close your eyes, breathing in deeply for a count of 3, you can hold the breath for just a second and then, breathe out fully for a count of 5. If this is difficult, you can reduce the count – say for 2, 1 and 4 counts. You can also combine breathing exercises with power poses for maximum benefits. I use power poses with meditation at the start of my day and I feel great afterwards.

As you are only investing a couple of minutes, you will have time for it.
Body language is important but it’s not everything. One thing for sure is that confidence affects both your mind and body. Your personality and emotional state of mind will no doubt affect your levels of confidence but improving your body language by taking up one of the power poses, will certainly increase physical presence and make you feel so much better.
You can use these power poses quickly and efficiently in every situation.

Think about a difficult presentation in front of your boss or colleagues. Imagine you are waiting to be called in and you start to feel nervous and your hands are sweating. Find a quiet space and take a moment to adjust your posture. Put your hands on your hips, keep your chin up, have your chest out and visualize the pose. If you can just do this for a couple of minutes before you attend your meeting or your interview, your testosterone levels will increase as will your confidence. You will also naturally and quickly lower your stress levels.”

physiology and psychology interwoven

“Reading People
¶ Learning to read men and women is a more delightful process than learning to read books, for every person you see is a true story, more romantic and absorbing than any ever bound in covers.

Learning to read people is also a simpler process than learning to read books because there are fewer letters in the human alphabet. Though man seems to the untrained eye a mystifying mass of “funny little marks,” he is not now difficult to analyze.

Only a Few Feelings
¶ This is because there are after all but a few kinds of human feelings. Some form of hunger, love, hate, fear, hope or ambition gives rise to every human emotion and every human thought.”

“Thoughts Bring Actions
¶ Now our actions follow our thoughts. Every thought, however transitory, causes muscular action, which leaves its trace in that part of the physical organism which is most closely allied to it.

Physiology and Psychology Interwoven
¶ Look into the mirror the next time you are angry, happy, surprised, tired or sorrowful and note the changes wrought by your emotions in your facial muscles.

Constant repetition of the same kinds of thoughts or emotions finally makes permanent changes in that part of the body which is physiologically related to these mental processes.

The Evolution of the Jaw
¶ The jaw is a good illustration of this alliance between the mind and the body. Its muscles and bones are so closely allied to the pugnacity instinct center in the brain that the slightest thought of combat causes the jaw muscles to stiffen. Let the thought of any actual physical encounter go through your mind and your jaw bone will automatically move upward and outward.

After a lifetime of combat, whether by fists or words, the jaw sets permanently a little more upward and outward—a little more like that of the bulldog. It keeps to this combative mold, “because,” says Mother Nature, the great efficiency expert, “if you are going to call on me constantly to stiffen that jaw I’ll fix it so it will stay that way and save myself the trouble.”

“Inheritance of Acquired Traits
¶ Thus the more combative jaw, having become permanent in the man’s organism, can be passed on to his children.

¶ Right here comes a most interesting law and one that has made possible the science of Human Analysis:

Law of Size
¶ The larger any part or organ the better its equipment for carrying out the work of that organ and the more does it tend to express itself. Nature IS an efficiency expert and doesn’t give you an oversupply of anything without demanding that you use it.

Jaws Becoming Smaller
¶ Our ancestors developed massive jaws as a result of constant combat. As fast as civilization decreased the necessity for combat Nature decreased the size of the average human jaw.

Meaning of the Big Jaw
¶ But wherever you see a large protruding jaw you see an individual “armed and engined,” for some kind of fighting. The large jaw always goes with a combative nature, whether it is found on a man or a woman, a child, a pugilist or a minister.”

“Exhibit a—The Irishman
¶ The large jaw, therefore, is seen to be both a result and a cause of certain things. As the inheritance of a fighting ancestor it is the result of millions of years of fighting in prehistoric times, and, like any other over-developed part or organ, it has an intense urge to express itself. This inherent urge is what makes the owner of that jaw “fight at the drop of the hat,” and often have “a chip on his shoulder.”

Natural Selection
¶ Thus, because every external characteristic is the result of natural laws, and chiefly of natural selection, the vital traits of any creature can be read from his externals. Every student of biology, anatomy, anthropology, ethnology or psychology is familiar with these facts.

Built to Fit
¶ Man’s organism has developed, altered, improved and evolved “down through the slow revolving years” with one instinctive aim—successful reaction to its environment. Every part has been laboriously constructed to that sole end. Because of this its functions are marked as clearly upon it as those of a grain elevator, a steamship or a piano.

“Survival of the Fittest
¶ Nature has no accidents, she wastes no material and everything has a purpose. If you put up a good fight to live she will usually come to your rescue and give you enough of whatever is needed to tide you over. If you don’t, she says you are not fit to people the earth and lets you go without a pang. Thus she weeds out all but the strong—and evolution marches on.

Causes of Racial Characteristics
¶ This inherent potentiality for altering the organism to meet the demands of the environment is especially noticeable in races and is the reason for most racial differences.

Differences in environment—climate, altitude and topography necessitated most of these physical differentiations which today enable us to know at a glance whether a man belongs to the white race, the yellow race, or the black race. The results of these differentiations and modifications will be told in the various chapters of this book.”

Anorexia AND overcoming it

A typically healthy person may have difficulty understanding someone who is suffering from anorexia. – After all, why would anyone want to consciously starve themselves? It’s critical, then, that an understanding of the way anorexia manipulates the mind and cause issues with body image acceptance, be achieved in order to better understand such patients. Developing an understanding also helps avoid pushing them even further into their illness.

Anyone suffering from issues stemming from body image acceptance has difficulty correlating the person they see in the mirror with the person they see in their head. The version of themselves that exists internally will override even the direst physical issues, issues that are obvious to everyone but them. Whether it is because of a need to exert control over at least one aspect of their lives or because they feel the need for approval, the nature of the eating disorder quickly overtakes a person through an obsession with their weight, the calories they consume and the amount of exercise they perform. This obsession becomes the cornerstone of an individual with anorexia. Other activities and interests fall by the wayside.

Anorexia leads sufferers to believe that even healthy foods are bad for them, even if there is no logical evidence to support these beliefs. In fact there can be nothing but evidence to the contrary, but the person suffering from anorexia does not listen to reason and will assert their irrational claims regardless. This disease twists even the most logical arguments a loved one can pose – and the person suffering from this disease will become more obstinate the harder they are pressed.

They can even begin to notice their body’s cries for help – weakness, fatigue, feeling faint – and interpret them as positive, even desirable. Instead of reading these as signs that they need to care for themselves, they strive for these symptoms and will associate them with success.

It’s key to remember that although expressions of concern are natural, a person suffering from anorexia can interpret these expressions as positive reinforcement. Just as feeling faint and looking gaunt are something to strive for, hearing others express concern only seems to reinforce that individual’s belief that they are succeeding.

Because anorexia is so all consuming, it cannot be effectively treated by the average person. Medical supervision, along with therapy to assess and treat the root causes of the disease and its effects on the brain are necessary if a person suffering from this disease is to recover.

Mental health refers to our cognitive, behavioral, and emotional wellbeing – it is all about how we think, feel, and behave. The term ‘mental health‘ is sometimes used to mean an absence of a mental disorder. Mental health can affect daily life, relationships, and even physical health.

NON VERBAL COMMUNICATION

Scientific research on nonverbal communication and behavior began with the 1872 publication of Charles Darwin’s The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals. Since that time, abundant research on the types, effects, and expressions of unspoken communication and behavior. While these signals are often so subtle that we are not consciously aware of them, research has identified several different types of nonverbal communication.

9 Types of Nonverbal Communication
Here are nine types of nonverbal cues and behaviors:

Facial Expressions
Facial expressions are responsible for a huge proportion of nonverbal communication.1 Consider how much information can be conveyed with a smile or a frown. The look on a person’s face is often the first thing we see, even before we hear what they have to say.

While nonverbal communication and behavior can vary dramatically between cultures, the facial expressions for happiness, sadness, anger, and fear are similar throughout the world.

universal facial expressions and nonverbal communication

Gestures
Deliberate movements and signals are an important way to communicate meaning without words.2 Common gestures include waving, pointing, and using fingers to indicate numeric amounts. Other gestures are arbitrary and related to culture.

In courtroom settings, lawyers have been known to utilize different nonverbal signals to attempt to sway juror opinions. An attorney might glance at his watch to suggest that the opposing lawyer’s argument is tedious or might even roll his eyes at the testimony offered by a witness in an attempt to undermine his or her credibility. These nonverbal signals are seen as being so powerful and influential that some judges even place limits on what type of nonverbal behaviors are allowed in the courtroom.

Paralinguistics

Paralinguistics refers to vocal communication that is separate from actual language.3 This includes factors such as tone of voice, loudness, inflection, and pitch. Consider the powerful effect that tone of voice can have on the meaning of a sentence. When said in a strong tone of voice, listeners might interpret approval and enthusiasm. The same words said in a hesitant tone of voice might convey disapproval and a lack of interest.

Consider all the different ways that simply changing your tone of voice might change the meaning of a sentence. A friend might ask you how you are doing, and you might respond with the standard “I’m fine,” but how you actually say those words might reveal a tremendous amount of how you are really feeling.

A cold tone of voice might suggest that you are actually not fine, but you don’t wish to discuss it. A bright, happy tone of voice will reveal that you are actually doing quite well. A somber, downcast tone would indicate that you are the opposite of fine and that perhaps your friend should inquire further.

Body Language and Posture
Posture and movement can also convey a great deal of information.4 Research on body language has grown significantly since the 1970s, but popular media have focused on the over-interpretation of defensive postures, arm-crossing, and leg-crossing, especially after publishing Julius Fast’s book Body Language.

While these nonverbal behaviors can indicate feelings and attitudes, research suggests that body language is far more subtle and less definitive than previously believed.

Proxemics
People often refer to their need for “personal space,” which is also an important type of nonverbal communication.5 The amount of distance we need and the amount of space we perceive as belonging to us is influenced by a number of factors including social norms, cultural expectations, situational factors, personality characteristics, and level of familiarity.

For example, the amount of personal space needed when having a casual conversation with another person usually varies between 18 inches to four feet. On the other hand, the personal distance needed when speaking to a crowd of people is around 10 to 12 feet.

Eye Gaze
The eyes play an important role in nonverbal communication and such things as looking, staring and blinking are important nonverbal behaviors. When people encounter people or things that they like, the rate of blinking increases and pupils dilate. Looking at another person can indicate a range of emotions including hostility, interest, and attraction.

People also utilize eye gaze as a means to determine if someone is being honest.6 Normal, steady eye contact is often taken as a sign that a person is telling the truth and is trustworthy. Shifty eyes and an inability to maintain eye contact, on the other hand, is frequently seen as an indicator that someone is lying or being deceptive.

Haptics
Communicating through touch is another important nonverbal behavior. There has been a substantial amount of research on the importance of touch in infancy and early childhood.

Harry Harlow’s classic monkey study demonstrated how deprived touch and contact impedes development. Baby monkeys raised by wire mothers experienced permanent deficits in behavior and social interaction. Touch can be used to communicate affection, familiarity, sympathy, and other emotions.

In her book Interpersonal Communication: Everyday Encounters, author Julia Wood writes that touch is also often used as a way to communicate both status and power.7 Researchers have found that high-status individuals tend to invade other people’s personal space with greater frequency and intensity than lower-status individuals. Sex differences also play a role in how people utilize touch to communicate meaning.

Women tend to use touch to convey care, concern, and nurturance. Men, on the other hand, are more likely to use touch to assert power or control over others.

Appearance
Our choice of color, clothing, hairstyles, and other factors affecting appearance are also considered a means of nonverbal communication.8 Research on color psychology has demonstrated that different colors can evoke different moods. Appearance can also alter physiological reactions, judgments, and interpretations.

Just think of all the subtle judgments you quickly make about someone based on his or her appearance. These first impressions are important, which is why experts suggest that job seekers dress appropriately for interviews with potential employers.

Researchers have found that appearance can play a role in how people are perceived and even how much they earn. One 1996 study found that attorneys who were rated as more attractive than their peers earned nearly 15 percent more than those ranked as less attractive.

Culture is an important influence on how appearances are judged. While thinness tends to be valued in Western cultures, some African cultures relate full-figured bodies to better health, wealth, and social status.

Artifacts
Objects and images are also tools that can be used to communicate nonverbally. On an online forum, for example, you might select an avatar to represent your identity online and to communicate information about who you are and the things you like. People often spend a great deal of time developing a particular image and surrounding themselves with objects designed to convey information about the things that are important to them.

Uniforms, for example, can be used to transmit a tremendous amount of information about a person. A soldier will don fatigues, a police officer will wear a uniform, and a doctor will wear a white lab coat. At a mere glance, these outfits tell people what a person does for a living.

A Word From Very-well
Nonverbal communication plays an important role in how we convey meaning and information to others, as well as how we interpret the actions of those around us. The important thing to remember when looking at such nonverbal behaviors is to consider the actions in groups. What a person actually says along with his or her expressions, appearance, and tone of voice might tell you a great deal about what that person is really trying to say.

The Metaphysical Use Of Meditation, Chakra Healing for the Mind, Body and The Soul.

Calming the mind is significant in metaphysical work. It is actually to be considered the first step. In this meditation process, the idea is to concentrate only on your thoughts. You must be free from any distractions and negative thought patterns. In metaphysical healing, visualization is vital. To acquire what you desire, a visual representation of what you want, must be present in your mind frame.

Prayer is also another way to use metaphysical healing. Having unity with a higher power can be really enforcing when using metaphysical healing. Inspiring ones spirit is also a great way to acquire this metaphysical treatment and meditation. The most effective solution is to try to achieve everyone’s desires, whether it be written down or as we said before in a visualization sense. This will better help, receiving the benefits.

Chakra meditation is the fundamental key to emotional stability, mental clarity, and physical health. Why? Because the human chakras work as conductors, sorting out energy from the earth and heaven and to unify these energies takes time. These chakras are energy vortexes that stimulate multiple endocrine organs in the body.

Chakras are doors which acquire life energy to flow throughout the human aura. Their main purpose is to vitalize the physical body and to promote self conscious awakening. They are also connected with mental, physical and emotional faculties.

The aura is considered the humans eighth chakra. Other chakras are aligned through the head , skull, spine and neck to the thighs and then so on. Why do we use chakra meditation? Most people refer to use a man or women who has a reputation that they are great healers. With his or her assistance they will then learn how their bodies operate on a Metaphysical level. They can tell you which chakras are in a poor state and which need to be worked on. They can alleviate this for you.

Metaphysical meditation has many benefits. Each session will leave you feeling renewed and refreshed. With a better ability to focus and have a clearer mind frame. The different meditative benefits are as follows:

General well being and improvements of the body: when you meditate you are entering a condition of concentration that develops nutrients and blood flow. It will also boost your strength and your health.

Providing improved concentration: this focus is applicable for both physical and mental matters. People who keep meditation in tact on a daily basis have a healthy nervous system.

Lowering your oxygen consumption: meditation lowers and deepens your breathing. It also reduces your heart rate and blood pressure. It will develop the efficiency and strength for blood flow.

Metaphysics

Metaphysics is a comprehensive scope of philosophy, it is not a science. It has been used to explain a vast number of subjects. Including, God, Religion, Life and Death, Positive Thinking, Psychology and Laws of The Universe.

Metaphysics is considered one of the oldest branches of philosophy. It interprets the vital relationship that takes place between his or her manner of interpreting the universe and the world alike.

The word Metaphysics comes from the Greek terms “meta” and “physika.” Once it is combined it forms to mean beyond nature. Most people believe it was Aristotle who formed the word metaphysics.

Although, it was Andronicus of Rhodes, who claimed to have used the word; describing the body of work Aristotle formed after concentrating on physics. Through this “meta” referred to the immense philosophers work which started after physics.

Metaphysics is a very crucial area. Believe it or not, every individual possesses a metaphysical system. Even if they have never studied the disciplines. The nature of survival is one of the most fundamental concepts in metaphysics. Another area of metaphysics is the law of governing the universe and the world around them.

Among the laws , the law of causality is the most significant. It defines each action as a result of another earlier action. This law defines metaphysics. It also leads to two distinct perceptions of the world. The predictable causation can either lead to primary cause or endless causation. The people who believe in primary cause, trust in god. The people who believe in endless causation, possess an anarchic or chaotic view of our worlds existence.

There are three levels of metaphysics, they include ontology, theology and universal science. Ontology is the main branch of philosophy. It deals with the study of the nature of reality. Theology, on the other hand is the study of god. It answers the fact of god really existing or not. Universal science is the hardest type of level, it involves the search for the principles. The fundamental laws, universal logic also the origin of where this all began.

The application of ones metaphysical reality helps the acceleration, of ones evolution. Through understanding this field, you can easily answer the different questions that come into your mind. You will be able to Distinguish reality from fantasy.

The concept of metaphysics is very comprehensive. Metaphysics has an inspirational value. It covers both the spiritual and the physical aspects of man. It begins where conventional psychology leaves off and goes into dogmatic religion.

Lastly, if your wondering what a metaphysician is; it is someone who seeks to understand reality. These individuals desire to know why things exist. With these professionals, people are able to understand the real concept of metaphysics. The real concept is to figure out the truth behind every action.

Inner Peace & Tranquility / The Chakras and What They Do. From Top To Bottom

As you probably know energy affects you more than you realize. Science has proven that everything in our universe is made of the same energy. But, How does it apply to me? Remember a time when you spoke to someone or encountered something or someone who was angry , stressed, anxious, or in a bad mood? what happened after? Chances are you began to feel it, maybe in your stomach, your heart or your head. It affected you somehow, it does not begin to stop there.

Sometimes you will begin to carry that energy throughout your day, and it ends up affecting everything you do. It will also begin to affect everyone you encounter. You bring it from one direction to the next, you might bring it home. It has a ripple effect and that it just one tiny example. Know that even a complete stranger can affect your life through just energy alone.

There is also a lucky and unlucky phenomenon where if you have ever had a lucky day, one where everything went right. One after another? Almost as if the stars were lined up and conspiring in your favor?

Have you ever had a bad day, where everything just went wrong and it just kept on piling up. All you wanted was to curl into a ball and hide from the world? It is not a coincidence that when these things begin to happen they are controlled by your energy circuits.

Your energy is more power than your thoughts and your emotions. The invisible thing that controls your mood is your energy. It controls everything. It is the one thing that most people do not focus on because they do not see it with their naked eye! Have you ever heard the saying (“Out of Sight, Out of Mind”)

When your energy and person vibration is high, most obstacles and challenges do not even appear , you begin to skip them. The ones that do appear, you are just able to handle them- maybe magically?

When your energy and personal vibration is low- then the pandoras box of negativity, fear, and unwanted scenarios come flooding into your life- and even the “smallest things” tend to bother you!

img_2651

Going through dark times is terrible, you need to know how to get rid of these limiting beliefs, emotions and actions that are dragging you down.  Within minutes you can become aware of mastering your energy fields. Your logical mind begins catching up with your negative thinking and thats what makes you aware of this and you feel much better afterward, However; you must be aware!!

When Everything flows, When chosen the right vibration and energy for myself for others, miracles being to happen several times a day! If you are dealing with this and you ask for signs, you will end up receiving the higher frequencies of self love and abundance. Sometimes when your in the right frequencies , what you desire the most finds its way to you effortlessly.

You have the physical body and you also have the energetic body and its a complex system. The energetic system is vast and extremely complex. Here are some of the basic  ones to remember for now. In our physical body we have physical organs. You have energetic organs which are known as chakras. Chakras affect you more than you know. They affect your emotions, mood, experiences, health and well being finances and relationships.

For physical bodies there are energetic toxins. Energetic toxins can come through internally or externally. We have physical skin, we also have energetic skin. Energetic skin would be the aura. Aura, depending on how sensitive you are, absorbs what it comes in contact with , just like our skin would.

We then have physical senses= 8 spiritual & energetic senses. This is like our five senses. ( sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch.) Our energetic senses help us make sense and decipher the invisible energy. Most of the biggest pain and struggle people experience is because they do not know how to take care of their energetic bodies.

Every painful and traumatic experience you have ever had since you were a child had a tremendous impact on you and its still affecting you and holding you back. It is a compounding affect. When you have energy that is stuck, your problems will keep reoccurring over and over again , and you wont be able to fully move forward regardless of how hard you are trying. If you have energy blocks in your system, there is an energetic blue print, to keep you from moving forward.

img_2415

Heres how it occurs, the painful experience will happen and the energy from that initially gets stored in your energetic body. Then the initial energy that was stored in your body from these painful experiences eventually turn into energetic patterns.

These energetic patterns keep you stuck, and cause you to keep re-experiencing the same problem over and over and over again. Unless you are able to remove the deeply – rooted energetic blocks that are stuck in your body. ( Sometimes on a deep cellular level ), You will be stuck where you are, and you wont be able to fully move forward.

Energy can get trapped, in auric fields, from day to day living, in chakras- from your own pain or from trauma others inflict upon you. In the actual organs, from internal to external sources. In karmic and energetic timelines. In DNA and Cellular levels – passed on from ancestors and generational trauma.

Lets use chakras as an example, its one of the hidden energetic systems that flows within our bodies and affects everything in our lives from our careers to relationships to inner peace.

Your crown chakra – has to do with spirituality, intuition, and purpose of work. So, if you are having issues in that area, theres most likely energetic toxins and blocks in your crown chakra.

Your third eye chakra- has to do with absorbing peoples energy, and tuning. Being able to tune into the energetic world. If you are sensitive to other peoples energies, theres most likely energetic toxins and blocks in your third eye chakra.

Your throat chakra has to do with speaking, your truth and confidence, and communication. So, if you are having communication issues, theres most likely energetic toxins and blocks in your throat chakra.

Your heart chakra- has to do with love and self love. If you have a hard time loving yourself, or you keep attracting toxic people into your life, theres most likely energetic toxins and blocks in your heart chakra.

Your solar plexus chakra- also called the power center, has to do with wisdom, self esteem, self worth and personal power. If you have a hard time standing up for yourself, or standing in your power , theres most likely energetic toxins and blocks in your solar plexus chakra.

Your root chakra- has to do with career, being grounded, and material abundance. If you have issues with money, abundance or staying grounded, theres most likely energetic toxins and blocks in your root chakra.

Silence and The Brain

Studies show that silence helps trigger the development of new brain cells, which develop into functional neurons. The hippocampus which is responsible for learning and processing emotions and memory; shows newly developed cells after exposure to silence.

Some people believe that silence relaxes the brain too much, whereby it may become unproductive. However, if you are in a totally silent environment the brain is still busy processing thoughts. It is also busy evaluating information.

You would have experienced this, by silently pondering and reflecting on past events. This is when your brain is not distracted by noise. This is when it can process information smoothly.

Noises stresses the brain and the body. Noise can have a negative impact on the brain. This is a result of the body releasing the stress hormone cortisol. Experts believe that the amygdala , which is situated within the brains temporal lobes; is constantly activated through the chronic production of the stress hormones.

The amygdala is the part of the brain that processes memories and emotions. Therefore, an individual living in a noisy environment is more likely to produced high levels of cortisol. It can cause distress both physically and mentally as a result of constantly induced brain activity.

Silence releases stress from the body. If noise is a problem then silence is a solution. The findings of a study that was published in the heart journal showed that two minutes of silence produced more relaxation benefits than a person listening to two minutes of music.

Noise harms cognitive functioning in the brain. Noise is harmful to a persons productivity and performance. It decreases motivation. It increases the tendency to make mistakes. Noise can have an adverse impact on the brains cognitive functioning and affects the brains ability to process memory, focus and to solve essential problems.

Noise increases risk of illness. Experts have figured out high levels of blood pressure linked to noise. Chronic exposure to noise from airports or highways. It is also linked to higher rates of heart disease, sleep loss and tinnitus.

Cortisol increasing in the body do to high levels of blood pressure and putting more stress on the body, significantly strains your body’s entire system. This results in in a high heart rate and constricting blood vessels. This is a precursor for developing heart disease.

This can also increase the risk of developing anxiety and depression. Also, unwanted behaviors of anger and or aggression.

To better understand the noise on our heart health, a study showed that being exposed to persistent noise greater than 65 decibels , affected the cardiovascular system.

65 decibels is the background noise in a restaurant. 86 decibels is approximately the noise a blender would create.

Self Mastery Depends Upon Power of Concentration

  • You develop your faculties of self-mastery in proportion to the extent you succeed in developing your powers of concentration.

  • Watch the next person you see that has the reputation of being a strong character, a man of force. Watch and see what a perfect control he has over his body. Then watch just an ordinary person. Notice how he moves his eyes, arms, fingers; notice the useless expenditure of energy. These movements all break down the vital cells and lessen the person’s power in vital and nerve directions. It is just as important for you to conserve your nervous forces as it is the vital forces.

  • The mind is associated with muscle and nerve. When you steady your nerves and muscles, you steady your mind, but let your nerves get out of order and your mind will become erratic and you will not possess the power of direction, which, in other words, is concentration.
If the heart flutters, the circulation is not regular, and when the lung action is uneven, the mind becomes unsteady and not fit for concentration. This is why controlled breathing is very important as a foundation for physical health. The secret of controlling your emotions is in controlling your breathing. Your main physiological life function is your respiratory system.

  • You must not only concentrate your mind, but also the action of the eyes, ears and fingers. Each of these contains miniature minds that are controlled by the master engineer. You will develop much quicker if you thoroughly realize this.

  • The next time you feel yourself becoming irritable, use your will and be patient. This is a very good exercise in self-control. It will help you to keep patient if you will breathe slowly and deeply. If you find you are commencing to speak fast, just control yourself and speak slowly and clearly. Keep from either raising or lowering your voice and concentrate on the fact that you are determined to keep your poise, and you will improve your power of concentration.

  • Any exercises that give you better control of the ears, fingers, eyes, feet, help you to steady your mind; when your eye is steady, your mind is steady. One of the best ways to study a person is to watch his physical movements, for, when we study his actions, we are studying his mind. Because actions are the expressions of the mind. As the mind is, so is the action. If it is uneasy, restless, erratic, unsteady, its actions are the same. When it is composed, the mind is composed. Concentration means control of the mind and body. You cannot secure control over one without the other.
The real benefit of physical cultivation is that when you learn to control the body, you are gaining control over the mind. Always observe what you are doing with your body and you will know what is happening with your mind.
According to the principle of correspondence, there is mental muscle just as there is physical muscle. The more you use your will, the stronger it becomes and the less effort you need to assert for the same use over time. Unlike things on the physical level, things on the mental level can be built up almost immediately depending on the mind of the user.

  • Use your mental forces so that they will grow and develop. Remember that everything you do is the result of mental action, therefore you can completely control your every action. Nothing is impossible for you.

  • Many people who seem to lack ambition have sluggish minds. They are steady, patient and seemingly have good control, but this does not say they are able to concentrate. These people are indolent, inactive, slow and listless, because they lack energy; they do not lose control because they have little force to control. They have no temper and it therefore cannot disturb them. Their actions are steady because they possess little energy. The natural person is internally strong, energetic and forceful, but his energy, force and strength, thoughts and physical movements are well under his control.
If a person does not have energy, both mental and physical, he must develop it. If he has energy which he cannot direct and hold to a point he must learn to do so. A man may be very capable, but, unless he Wills to control his abilities, they will not do him any good.
Energy creation and control are all purely mental. The first step is to summon up lots of energy. The second step is to focus it. Control is concentrated power.

  • The more attention you can capture from someone, the more attention you have to manipulate. The more influence you have over them.

  • The one that stands up like a man and has control over the muscles of his face and eyes always commands attention. In his conversation, he can better impress those with whom he comes in contact. He acquires a feeling of calmness and strength that causes opposition to melt away before it.

  • The more energy you can summon up within yourself, the more energy you have to direct and the more magnetic influence you have.

  • You can gain energy from external stimulus such as music, dance, martial art and video or you can gain it within from imagination and memory.
Raising your vibrations polarizes yourself more and more on the postive and increases your magnetic power.

Simplified Knowledge is the Wisest Kind of Wisdom

  • Everything has its foundation in simplicity because everything comes from the same source. To understand is to know what is underneath everything that stands. It is to get to the foundation upon which everything stands. Its to perceive from the highest level of all. Things become simpler when looking from a higher plane of view. Everything can be defined to the core. All things have their most simplified and concise state. Everything is unified and simplified. Simplified knowledge is the wisest kind of wisdom.

  • Whether something is complicated or simple depends on the level of awareness that the person perceiving it has. To the one who has better understanding, the complex is simple. The secret to understanding everything in a simple way is to get to the essence of things and see how they fit into the bigger picture of all things. It is to know the microcosm of a thing as well as the macrocosm. When you know the quantum level and also the meta level, you can know all levels in between easily and completely.

  • Nothing is complex, everything is simple. It all depends how it is organized. The complex is made simple through organization. The best structure is the structure that integrates and simplifies everything. It connects everything together and allows you to navigate all pathways from one thing to another in the most direct manner. It is the most ordered and clearest organization of things. All organization is organization of mind. When something is better organized, there is more effectiveness and efficiency.

  • The deeper your understanding, the simpler everything becomes to you. That is because you are getting to the essence of things. The deeper you go, the higher you ascend. What’s behind everything is also what’s above everything. To see from the highest and most fundamental place is to understand everything in life, the universe and destiny from the perspective of consciousness and reality creation. It is because consciousness is everything. It is consciousness alone that creates and directs all things.

  • All of reality exist within consciousness and reality is consciousness itself. Everything you learn is ultimately for the purpose of being able to create your reality better. When you take everything that you know and observe it from a perspective of reality creation, you will find what it really is about and how it all fits into the whole picture. There are only two worlds, the inner world and outer world and these two are really one world. You are consciousness and reality is a mirror for you to experience yourself.

  • The most simplified structure of knowledge for understanding all of reality is found in the seven hermetic principles by Hermes Trismegistus, who was the wisest being that ever walked the face of this earth. The seven hermetic principles explain all of reality in the most simplified and complete way. This knowledge is beyond human level which was taught to Hermes by the great dragon Poimandres. The seven hermetic principles begins with the most simple principle and increases in complexity from one to the next.

  • The first is the principle of mentalism. All is mind, the universe is mental. This principle explains everything as a simulation and that all other principles are rules that govern the simulation. It is the principle that unifies all other principles into itself. Everything is a dream and therefore anything is possible because there are no limits except the limits set by the dreamer of the dream. This principle explains reality as a consciousness program. There is no hardware because it is all changeable software.

  • In actuality, all is software, and hardware is a more condensed, fixed and deeper layer of software. Everything is but simulation within simulation. Layers upon layers of operating systems. Tools running tools. Constructs within constructs.

  • The second is the principle of correspondence. As above so below, as below so above. This principle explains that consciousness is divided into two worlds which are the inner and outer worlds. Reality is holographic, the part contains the whole and therefore truth is replicated in every place. The third is the principle of vibration. Everything is energy therefore you can understand everything in terms of frequencies and wave functions. Manipulating reality is all about manipulation of energy and changing its forms.

  • The forth is the principle of polarity. Everything is dual and one. All truth are half truths which when combined together form total truth. This principle allows you to see things from multiple perspectives and reconcile all paradoxes. The fifth is the principle of rhythm. This principle explains the flow of nature which enables you to work with the way things go and be on top of them. Everything is changing from one state into the opposite and back. There is an equal measure of good for every bad and vice versa.

  • The sixth is the principle of cause and effect. Everything is a cause or effect but the challenge is determining which it is and when it is so. It is to understand the complexity and simplicity of a self perpetuating cause and effect. The seventh is the principle of gender. Everything is either masculine or feminine but the relationship between the two can be more complex than anything else in the universe. This is how the principles move from the most simple to the most complex, from first to the last.

  • You can design an electronic circuit with 20 components each having a single function or you can design one with 5 components each having many functions. The efficient use of each component allows the whole circuit to be designed in a much more simplified manner. The universe is designed with the maximum efficiency possible, and so at the core it is extremely simple. To think consistently in this same format will require that your thinking to be flawless and requiring no additional thinking to compensate.

  • The height of cultivation always runs to simplicity. When one seeks the Tao, one unlearns something new everyday. It is not daily increase but daily decrease. It is not accumulation but elimination. Hack away the unessential. Only the core is necessary because all things attach themselves to the core. Things at the core lead to everything else. The core is the essence. When you have the essence, you can understand and generate all the forms because you are formless.

  • Simplicity is shortest path between two points. It is when we unify the two points so that we are able to be in both places simultaneously without having to move at all. It is by placing ourselves in the highest or the core level and allow the core to direct everything else naturally. The highest or core level of working with reality is consciousness and awareness. Resolve everything in a simplified way. All problems are problems of complexity. Problems exist when we are out of alignment with the divine flow of things.
You’ve got to understand the complexity and yet make it simple for yourself. The simplest tools can work in the most complex situations. The simplest solutions can solve the most complex problems. Secrets can be found in the most basic places. Truths originate from the most basic foundations. Valuable information is all around you, it is often so obvious that it is overlooked. The truth is always simple. If it isn’t, then it’s being expressed in a complicated and complex manner. You simply have to simplify it.

Perfect Intention is from Spiritual instead of Ego

  • There are times when we manifest what we intended but we aren’t happy or fulfilled although we got what we wanted. That is because we have intended based on what we think we should want or other people’s idea of what we should want instead of what we truly desire.
  • When we try to form definite intentions for the sake of manifesting things when we are not inspired to, we are intending from ego instead of spirit. When we allow our intentions to be naturally inspired, we will manifest what we truly desire.

  • It is not true that you must know everything you really want and all of it’s details. Sometimes you don’t really know what you want or you don’t know all of the specifics of it yet, but it is perfectly alright. It is usually the essence of something that you want rather than the particular form itself. All you need is to hold on to the essence and let the universe bring in the appropriate form. When you’re attached to a particular form of how you want your desire to be manifested, you may limit yourself from other forms.

  • That is the problem with forcing yourself to intend specifically about a desire when you are not ready to. When you know you desire something but do not have full knowledge of the details, just hold on to the essence of the desire and let the universe take care of the details. Sometimes you do desire to have something in a particular form and that desire is inspired. That is when you are able to intend specifically naturally. Choose to intend everything from spirit, both the essence and form of your desire.
In every moment of your life, you will be guided as to what to intend next. Your intentions can also keep changing form as you go along. They will become sharper and sharper as you evolve into greater awareness of who you are and what truly desire. What you are supposed to be intending now may change later as spirit guides you in creating the next thing it has purposed for you to create. Always follow spirit according to when you should intend the same way and when you should intend a new way.

  • You know that it is necessary to hold an intention continually until it is manifested in order to keep on giving it the energy for manifestation. You may have several intentions which some are from spirit and some are from ego. You do not know the difference until later as you make the discovery or come to the realization. Therefore be willing to drop whatever intentions that you realize are from ego instead of spirit. By doing so, you free up energy which can be channeled into manifesting spirit intentions.

  • All your true desires are already in your subconscious and are meant to be discovered. To be a conscious creator is to make the unconscious conscious, but when you try to make all your unconscious desires conscious immediately now, it won’t work. Some things you’re meant to be conscious of now, but other things you’re meant to awaken to them at the right time. Being conscious of them now would serve no purpose and may even sabotage your work of creation because you are not ready for them.

  • By trying to make everything in your unconscious conscious now, you are not trusting in divine order and timing. What you’re meant to be conscious of now will be inspired by your higher self for you to become aware of. You will know you do not need to be conscious of something when you do not really feel the desire to know it. When you allow yourself to be led from one moment to the next without needing to know everything at once, you will become conscious of the right thing at the right time.

  • Sometimes you may know a few specific points about something that you want, and that is all that matters. Because those specific points are your core requirements no matter how few they are. Everything else about it don’t really matter and therefore as long those core requirements are present, you will be satisfied with the manifestation of your intention. Certain things are fixed while everything else is variable. So you don’t need to know every detail about your intention when the few points are all you need.

  • When you intend your desire to manifest at a certain time in a certain way, you may limit yourself from other ways by which the universe can bring it in. That is not to say it won’t happen, it just takes longer. Your intention requires more energy to manifest when you force it to come through a certain channel. But when you let it come in its own way, it can happen more effortlessly and faster. You can intend something to happen and just let the universe arrange for it to happen at the best time in the best way.
Your higher self has not only chosen your highest purposes and desires but it has also chosen every detail as well. There is nothing for your ego to choose except to choose the choices of your higher self. To think that you must make choices in order for your desires to manifest, is to think that you are lacking those choices, and therefore you have to create them. The truth is everything has been provided including the choices for your intentions. There is nothing to do and only to allow God to do it.

Way of Invincibility, put yourself beyond Defeat

  • People think that no one can be invincible. They believe that everyone can be defeated in one way or another, no matter how powerful they are. Therefore they think it is impossible to be invincible. But the truth is, invincibility is possible if you believe it is. It’s true that everyone can be defeated, but there’re those who have made themselves virtually undefeatable by following the way of invincibility. There is a way to be invincible and when you discover and follow it, you won’t be defeated even though you can be.
You can make yourself invincible by playing only to your own strengths. It doesn’t matter how many different strategies and tools there are to use. You only need to make use of those that work best for you. It is foolishness of others when they think that you are not a master when you are not good at using many strategies and tools other than your own. Some of the most powerful masters in the world may only use one or two strategies or tools to defeat everyone else soundly. Invincibility is the simple way.

  • You can make yourself invincible by engaging only when it is advantageous to you. Who is to say that you must fight every battle that appears before you? Who is to say that you must take on every challenge? People who think like that are not the wisest and that is why they open themselves to defeat no matter how powerful they are. You create your reality and the kinds of challenges that come your way are created by you in the first place. Therefore you can choose to create and engage to your advantage.
You can make yourself invincible by preventing your weaknesses from being exploited.
  • This is the key secret of invincibility. A strength is only a strength when it is what you can use to gain you victory. A weakness is only a weakness when it is something that can cause you defeat. Therefore you can take away an enemy’s strength by preventing him from gaining victory with it, and you can make a weakness of your own disappear by preventing it from causing you defeat. Prevention is the best protection.
One way to prevent your weakness from being exploited is by not being there for the enemy to attack. Stay out of situations and places that you know are unfavorable for you. It is insane for a hand to hand combat master to enter into a place filled with gunmen or snipers. A wise fighter will not show up no matter how much the enemy tries to taunt him. If you have to enter such conditions, choose hit and run tactics. Get in and make your move, and then get out before the enemy can make a proper response.

  • The most lethal opponent is one that is unseen. If you can attack from the shadows and disappear when you are looked for, you will be a force to be reckoned with. The best attack is the least expected. When you strike at moments or in places where your enemy is off guard, he may be unable to put up a proper fight against you. When you move yourself away from places at times when he comes looking for you, he will be unable to touch you. This is the secret of invincible offense and invincible defense.

  • Having weaknesses that are unexposed is virtually having no weakness at all. Your enemy can observe your weaknesses all he wants. But as long as you play according to your strengths and engaging only when it is advantageous to you, he can observe your weaknesses all the way to his complete defeat. It may even seem as though those weaknesses only exist with others but not with you. That’s because both strengths and weaknesses do not exist in strategies or tools, but in the people using them.
You can even advance your power of invincibility to the next level by using your weaknesses as a bait to draw the enemy in, and then to destroy him with a trap. In this case, what originally appears to be a weakness has been used as a strength.
  • This kind of playing defies all standard rules and ordinary boundaries of winning and losing. All strengths and weaknesses are illusions. Nothing is really a strength or a weakness until its effect is manifested on the playing field. Everything is neutral until it is used.
Sun Tzu said the good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy. To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself. Thus the good fighter is able to secure himself against defeat, but cannot make certain of defeating the enemy. Be invincible yourself first, and then seek to break the enemy’s invincibility while not letting him break yours at all.

  • What the ancients called a clever fighter is one who not only wins, but excels in winning with ease. Hence his victories bring him neither reputation for wisdom nor credit for courage. He wins his battles by making no mistakes. Making no mistakes is what establishes the certainty of victory, for it means conquering an enemy that is already defeated. Hence the skillful fighter puts himself into a position which makes defeat impossible, and does not miss the moment for defeating the enemy whenever it arises.

  • Thus it is that in war the victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory. If you follow all the principles of being undefeatable, you can fight every battle with the outcome of victory secured. There is one final key of being undefeatable in the special case where you actually experience defeat, and that is to make the defeat work for you. In that case, you can never lose because every loss is turned into gain.

Using the Law of Attraction to Break Bad Habits!

  • We have been taught that to use the law of attraction to create the reality we desire, we must focus more on what we want and less on what we don’t want. But yet there are times when the things we don’t want continue to be created even though we try not to focus on them. The truth is that there are times when we must focus on what we don’t want so that we can attract it out fully and see it for what it is.
  • What we don’t want could be part of what we want and that is why we are still creating it unknowingly.
No habit is completely good or bad. There is always a benefit that it can provide and a detriment that it can cause. The mixture of positive and negative aspects is what traps most people in addictions. Focusing on the positive aspects alone does not remove the effect of the negative aspects. Most people use the law of attraction in a way that’s unenlightened, that’s why they keep miscreating their lives. From the place of seeing things for what they are completely, we can truly create in a conscious manner.

  • The reason why the undesirable consequences reoccur over and over again is because people ignore it and choose to focus on the positive aspects instead. But ignoring negative consequences do not make them go away. By observing what is, you begin to see what needs to be handled because intentions are a package deal. You cannot accept a portion without experiencing the rest that goes with it. If something as a whole isn’t beneficial for you, you have to learn to drop the whole thing in place of another.

  • What you resist persists. You resist something by ignoring it. It is alright to ignore something negative as long as it stands by itself, but if it is attached to something else that is positive, it will still remain if you hold on to that positive thing without observing and resolving what is on the other side. Evolution of being is about learning all we can from a situation whether positive or negative, and then transcending both aspects so that we may be free to move without entrapment of the negative with the positive.

  • In order to remove something, first let it flourish. We expand a problem by focusing on the negative aspects in order to make it grow to full bloom. It is the little things that matter because they form the foundation of whole systems and relationships. When we treat a fundamental issue as something to be taken lightly and brushing it off, we are actually doing the worst for the problem as it will continue to perpetuate and bite into all overlying issues without us even being conscious or able to do anything with it.

  • Focusing on a problem and making it as bad as you can make it to be may seem like the worst thing to do. But what seems to be the worst thing can actually be the best thing. Because when you accelerate its effect to the point where you can see the ultimate worst scenario it can bring about, you are able to resolve it at its worst and the only thing that remains will be good after that. It is this paradoxical way of engaging reality that reveals how the universe actually works, and how total resolution operates.
We tend to focus on pleasure and avoid pain because we think experiencing one is good but experiencing the other is bad. Pain and pleasure are neutral. It is not a matter of seeing one thing as good and another as bad. Both are forces that can be used to serve you in getting what you want. Pleasure a motivating force that moves you towards what you desire and pain is a motivating force that moves you away from what you do not desire. Using both forces together will give you maximum moving power.
Pain and pleasure works well as a combination if the pain is from something and the pleasure is from something else. But there is a conflict that occurs when the pain and pleasure come from different aspects of the same thing. You are pushing yourself away and pulling yourself towards the thing at the same time. That is why you seem to go nowhere and keep on experiencing the same turmoil of good and bad stuff. Pain and pleasure works properly when they are in alignment and not opposing one another.

  • Congruence is power and incongruence is powerlessness. That is why people are powerless when they are in conflict with themselves about what they really want. If you want to move from powerlessness to power, you have to turn from being incongruent to being congruent. You do this by stopping your experience of the pleasure from pulling you towards the very thing that causes you pain. You focus on increasing the pain and negativity of the situation until you become fully congruent with moving away.

  • Use massive pain as a leverage to drive you into breaking free. The breaking point comes when you finally say you had enough of a situation and make a fully intentional decision to end it right there and then. As long as there is a part that is hanging on to it, we haven’t generated enough pain to cut ourselves loose. It is not the pain of leaving but the pain of staying on that helps us to make that decision with full power. When you’re free, you don’t need the pain and can focus on the pleasure of being free.
Use the law of attraction to pull out the problem and nail it once and for all. Your level of ability to attract all that you desire in your life depends on the amount of energies you have freed from negative issues to channel fully into your desired manifestations. All suffering is the result of attachment. Suffering is not evil but it is a process that can trap you in evil or free you from it. Draw out the evil so that you can deal with it. Maximize the suffering until it forces you to cut off attachment and transcend suffering.

Dual Divinity, Inverse Reality of Heaven and Earth!

  • There has always been this question that if God requires us to believe in his Son Jesus Christ to be saved in order to enter into heaven for eternity, then why is it that he allows Satan to deceive much more people away from him instead of compelling more people to be saved instead? Wouldn’t God end up with a lot less people with him in heaven while much more are in hell?
  • Well the answer to this mystery is found in understanding the higher purpose that earth was created for in response to heaven’s event.

  • There was a time in heaven where God existed with all his angels in perfect glory and harmony. All the angels worshiped and gave glory to The Lord who is The Most High among them. But then there came a time where the one angel who was next to The Most High in glory started questioning the word of The Most High. This angel was Helel/Lucifer who was full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. He reasoned that all other beings could be like The Most High and therefore he sought to change heaven’s state.

  • At first Lucifer felt that he was the only one in heaven who perceived this higher truth of God. He believed that he was the first to awaken and now his purpose was to spread this awareness to the other Sons of God to awaken them as well. What Lucifer perceived wasn’t a higher truth that The Most High had hidden, but it was his own corruption of his wisdom by reasoning about his own glory that created a delusion. This delusion was the higher truth that Lucifer spread to all the angels of heaven as well.

  • Using the perception of subjective reality, Lucifer reasoned that there was only one consciousness in every individual being of the universe. Therefore there was no need to acknowledge a particular being as The Most High or to worship it as so. He believed that The Lord is an aspect of himself that had the highest place within his consciousness, but that he himself could ascend into that place as well if he willed to do so. In order to do so, he had to free all other aspects of himself to this possibility.

  • Since consciousness is a collective whole, you can create something for yourself by wishing it for everyone else as well. In order to experience wealth, you have to wish wealth for everybody and not just for some people. You have to wish happiness, freedom, love and anything good that you desire for everyone else if you wish it for yourself because everyone is a part of your consciousness. The universe makes up your total self. That is why Lucifer sought to enlighten Godhood for every other being in heaven.

  • The difference between original Godhood and Lucifer’s new version of Godhood is that, in original Godhood everyone is part of God but The Lord is the highest of all. Whereas in Lucifer’s version, everyone can be like The Most High and this displaces the sovereignty of The Lord. This half truth and half error is the essence of Satan’s doctrine about Godhood although in Satan’s perspective, it is the Lord whose perception is half true and half false. This battle of will between two perspectives is the split.
When there was one perspective of Godhood, now there are two.
  • There was a fight of reason and perception within consciousness for a period of nonlinear time which could have spanned eons until finally Lucifer managed to win one third of heaven’s angels to his point of view. The two sides had made up their mind what their stance was, and so there came the great battle where Lucifer led his side to challenge the power of The Most High. It turned out that Lucifer lost and his side was removed from heaven.
Lucifer wasn’t removed from heaven as a whole but only from certain planes and places in it. He was cast out of the highest realms into the lower ones. The Lord judged Satan and his angels for treason and sentenced them to the lake of fire for eternity but Satan appealed his case by stating how could a loving God cast his creatures into hell and still be loving. The Lord decided to use Lucifer’s accusation to prove the integrity of his character by creating Earth and Man with the angels witnessing the drama.

  • In heaven time was nonlinear, meaning events could happen in non sequential order. Beings could consider all possibilities before making a decision. Therefore when angels chose their stance of whose perspective to believe in, their decision was an eternal one. The Lord created physicality as a more confined dimension with the nature of time being linear so that Man who was created with lesser awareness, could make decisions and change them again and again until they die. Life on Earth is just a test.

  • It was a test to see if Man would choose to believe God or Satan. As above so below, the same scenario that occurred in heaven was now to be replicated on Earth. The difference this time was that God would make a way to spare those that sin against him from his judgment. He proved that a loving God could punish and still be loving by sending his Son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of humanity. Hence the world was divided into two sides, those who believed The Lord and those who believed not in him.
Satan deceives the whole world by his doctrine of Godhood being made available for all without need for worshiping a single most high personality. That is why the bible says that Satan is the god of this world.
  • The reality of heaven and earth are inverse. In heaven, there are more beings believing The Lord is Most High because two third of the angels remained faithful. On the Earth, there’re more beings believing in God and the universe without recognizing The Lord as God Most High. This is the dual divinity.
This inverse reality is the reason why those of us Christians who believe in The Lord feel that there are so few of us who know the truth compared to the vast majority who don’t. It is the same way Satan felt when he first formulated his delusion in heaven. In heaven, Satan and his angels rebelled against the concept of God given by The Lord.
  • On Earth, we rebel against the concept of God given by Satan. The difference between the two rebellions is that the first rebellion is unholy while the second is righteous.

  • God doesn’t worry that there will be less with him in heaven than those in hell. Earth was created as part of heaven’s plan. We are the second creation. This creation wouldn’t have been necessary if it wasn’t for what happened in the first. That is why people always feel we are part of a bigger picture. There are more with us among the stars than those who are not. Those of us who are in Christ together with the angels of The Most High will make a far greater company in heaven than those who are in hell.
Things tend to happen in inverse and paradoxical ways.
  • In the physical plane, you have the opportunity to create a perfect astral/spiritual body. In the astral/spiritual plane, you have the opportunity to create a perfect physical body. You are more able to create a perfect body in another plane, than to create a perfect body in the plane you are in. That is because each plane provides the experiences and environment to create the perfect body in another plane. In the physical plane, you have physical experience to evolve your soul and spirit. In the astral/spiritual plane, you are able to form the blueprint of your physical body that will develop over time, and also pre-design your life-path to a certain extent while leaving space for freewill to make certain changes.

  • In one moment of eternity, there were Gods and three of them were the highest in status. God A, God B and God C. God B being an eternal being and existing in an eternal dimension could not perceive of a time when he didn’t exist. He started to question the hierarchy where God A was supreme. God C said that God A was the Ruler and Creator of all other Gods and that although in terms of time, the Gods could not conceive of a beginning and who came first, God A came first in terms of divine order and the other Gods exist because of His thoughts. God B believed that they all came into being by self manifesting and that they were all equal. He decided to challenge the authority and position of God A by gathering as many of the Gods as possible in a battle against the Gods that served God A.
  • God B lost the fight and was cast out of the God Realm or Third Heaven and fell into the Universe or Second Heaven. God A decided to reveal Himself further as Creator by creating in a temporal dimension with temporal creatures in it. He allowed God B to turn these creatures against Him, and He further revealed Himself as Redeemer so that all will know Him as Lord of All and Savior of All. These are the identities of the three Gods: God A is Yahweh/Jesus (God of Gods). God B is Lucifer/Satan. God C is Michael the archangel.

Experiencing Total Bliss and Serenity of Being

  • The ultimate aim of all human beings is to experience the state of total bliss and serenity of Being. Some call it Nirvana which is an aspect of enlightenment. Nirvana is the highest happiness. It is not the kind of happiness that is temporal and fleeting based on earthly issues. It is eternal happiness that comes from enlightened consciousness. In that moment of realization about the truth of all reality and the recognition of self and universal power, one attains the feeling of ultimate bliss, freedom, power and peace.

  • The purpose of acquiring power is so that you can do what you want, and protect yourself from harm. Power gives you freedom of expression which results in serenity of Being. When you have power you are free, but in order to be powerful, you also need to be free. Freedom comes from knowing the truth, and that’s why knowledge is also power. Power, freedom and knowledge are synonymous. The path to everything is really the path of knowledge. When you know the truth, you will have power and freedom.

  • Every evil and suffering in this world is the result of ignorance. People can end suffering by seeking knowledge but those that refuse to learn and know more are those that continue to be unhappy, powerless and trapped. The truly intelligent seek knowledge and understanding to break free from the illusions of this world and rise above them. All suffering is for the purpose of pushing you to become enlightened. When you’re enlightened, you transcend the need for all suffering because you are free from them all.

  • The most direct path to enlightenment is the path of insight. Since enlightenment is seeing through illusions into reality, knowledge gives you instant realization of what is illusion and what is reality. It is to become conscious and aware about what is and how things work. The way to knowledge is through learning and thinking. You cannot learn without thinking and you cannot expand your thinking without learning. Knowing fully the ultimate goodness of the universe gives you complete certainty of goodness.
In that space, you feel safe, protected and nurtured. It is like being in the womb of the universe where there is complete safety, provision and love. You are one with the Source and are taken care of by it. You know that everything happens for your highest good and all that you desire comes to you in divine order and divine timing. You are aware of higher direction in every moment therefore you live life knowing what the right thing to do is. You are never left hanging and so you walk each step with peace.

  • When you know who you really are and how the universe is like, you experience a state of completeness and wholeness. It is a place where you cannot lose, because you have everything you want in life, and there is nothing that can be taken away from you. Nothing can be withheld from you that you don’t already have. It is a state of invincibility where you are feeling victorious and triumphant. You know that nothing matters because ultimately you are All That Is, and that you can trust the move of Spirit.
There are two aspects of power. One is your own power and the other is the power of the universe. You know both power by knowing the universal flow and the power of intention. You know the universal flow by knowing that everything is happening for your highest good. You know the power of intention which is your own power to create whatever you wish to create and to form reality at will. This gives you absolute and complete power as well as freedom. Nothing beats embracing God’s power as your own.

  • When you have complete knowledge of complete power, you are capable of creating and flowing. You know that you can create whatever you want with your intention and you are able to detach from whatever happens, knowing that things are going exactly the way you want according to your higher self. Having power makes you feel secure because nothing can hurt you and you will always win one way or another. Security that comes from enlightened consciousness is security that is eternal and the highest.

  • When you have knowledge about the higher level and the lower level of reality, you are free to move within and beyond the system. You know that you are different from the masses that keep creating all kinds of problems for themselves and trap themselves in all sorts of illusions. You know that you can play in whatever area you wish to play and win beyond the usual standards of winning. There is a gleeful kind of feeling you experience when you are enlightened about the world and how you can totally own it.

  • Experiencing Nirvana makes you feel like the luckiest and the happiest person on earth. You realize that the whole universe belongs to you and that you are a master of life. There is no one else like you and who has what you have. It is the feeling of having arrived and being there to stay forever. You feel that your life is in the best possible state there is and will continue to be the best onwards. You no longer have to go through ups and downs like the rest but you live on a plane that is continually ascending.

  • You polarize yourself above the pendulum swing of human drama with perception and intention. The experience of feeling safety, security and nurturing by the combined power of the universe and of yourself is also the experience of self love. When you feel such absolute feeling of security, power and happiness about yourself, you can also cause others around you to feel that way with you. You have total peace and bliss. You feel like you are a god in this world. Like a Buddha. You transcend all areas of life.
