If there is one key that would make all the difference between victory and defeat in a person’s life, it would be taking spiritual authority. You can build up faith, trust in God and be at rest, but as long as you do not do the one thing, you may not turn your trial around. That one thing is to take spiritual authority by actively enforcing faith through the act of commanding reality.
- The act of commanding is to exercise divine power. It is the trigger to the loaded gun and the point of execution where all power is released.
Even though our minds are a battlefield and life itself is a battle, it’s also a great adventure that’s filled with choices. There used to be a bumper sticker that read, “God is my co-pilot.”
- Later, someone created another one that read, “If God is your co-pilot, switch seats.” No, it was right the first time. God has put YOU in the driver’s seat. He said, “I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore, choose life”. God will not drive for you. It’s your life and your individuality. You must drive deliberately.
You succeed or fail according to the way you see yourself. Broke people work very hard and sacrifice a lot in an effort to create the best life possible, but remain in undesirable circumstances. They’re frustrated beyond belief and cannot understand why life is so hard, or why life continues to deal them such a poor hand. Life is only hard because one believes that it is.
- Life will continue to deal a poor hand to all those who believe that it will. People do not attract what they want, but that which they are.
The only way to attract what you want is to change the way you’re thinking about yourself in certain situations. Get a new picture-image, even if it’s hard to believe. The more you tell yourself something, whether it’s true or not, the more your subconscious mind will begin to accept it. The Bible says Faith is to “Speak of future events with as much certainty as though they were already past.” All things exist in simultaneous time and if you speak the future as the past, you are creating reality with assurance.
When you begin to give less attention to what you’re trying to get, and give more attention to changing the way you see yourself, only then will you gain a much better chance of getting what you want. When you change, your circumstances will change. No matter what negative situations you may find yourself in, when you change the way you see yourself, you can then expect things to turn around in your favor. Always seek to assert a positive self identity to yourself first in every circumstance you see.
Your attitude determines your future. Do you realize you are creating your future by the very attitude you posses? The Amplified Bible says “All the days of the desponding afflicted are made evil (by anxious thoughts and foreboding), but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast (regardless of circumstances).” And “A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.” This is deliberate creation. The wise deliberately choose their thoughts and feelings and turn their minds the way they want.
After Jesus spoke the parable of the sower, he told His disciples, “Let us pass over to the other side (of the sea).” After they boarded the boat and evening came, a huge storm arose and about scared the life out of the disciples while Jesus was asleep. The disciples woke Him and said, “Don’t You care that we are going to die?” Jesus got up and spoke to the storm and it subsided. Then He said to the disciples, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” They then arrived unto the other side.
Life is just like that. You start out with a vision, and then a storm comes along. You cry out to Jesus, but He’s asleep (or seems to be). You either calm the storm yourself by faith, or He eventually comes to your aid and calms the storm for you. You pull your victory out of the storm by faith. Jesus took spiritual authority over the storm. You exercise your faith by taking spiritual authority. The disciples exercised no authority, which is why Jesus said they had no faith. The wind and waves in life obey authority.
Now, after the storm is calmed you may or may not see the dream fulfilled depending on how you handled the storm. The bible says “This is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.” It’s your faith then that’s going to ultimately determine your level of prosperity. To have victory, you must exercise faith by taking spiritual authority. “He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that works in us.” This power is simply our faith. God works with your taking authority.
Put your entire heart towards something. Your entire heart is the sum of your feelings. Collect your feelings together and direct it in anyway you can through a physical motion, a verbal affirmation or a mental declaration, or a combination of it all. Magic is about building up energy or emotion and releasing it towards something and then letting go of it, and to be in a state of rest. This is living according to the law of deliberate creation. We’re here to experience ourselves as conscious creators of our reality.
Jesus said “He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.” Therefore if Jesus can take spiritual authority over the elements of life, so can you. Until you exercise your own authority, you will always be under the authority of other forces that may or may not have your best interest at heart.
- Those who do not exert their own authority are meant to be under the authority of those who do. Take spiritual authority and drive your life just as God wants you to.
